Victorine was adopted Friday, December 9, 2022!
Since their admittance in mid-November 2021, Momma Victorine awaited rescue for herself and her little ones, Montana and Monday. With each passing day, her certainty someone would come for them waned. However, on a sunny Sunday in early December, a caring Kitty Devore Rescue member, armed with his trusty carrier, walked into Devore Shelter in San Bernardino, California, with the sole intention of rescuing them and ushering them to safety. The family was cared for in Southern California until February, when everyone was old enough to journey northbound to one of our best foster moms in Seattle, WA.
Now that her boys are grown, Victorine delights in the prospect of kicking up her heels and enjoying life in a new forever home. She’s stunningly beautiful, super sweet on people, and adores lavish attention showered upon her. While she doted on her boys, her warmth toward other kitties requires a slow burn to kindle. She’d prefer to be the one and only queen of the house, but if you happen to have a resident cat, don’t count her out. Just know that for Victorine, friendships with other cats take time. A long, long time. However, expect to snuggle if she’s the only kitty in the house. She’s a keeper, you’ll see.
