Valero was rescued from Devore shelter in August of 2016. He was only 3 months old at the time. Despite his stunning markings and good looks as well as his winsome personality, he was still very much at risk while there. Thankfully, he was saved and taking into the care of his loving foster mom, Rebecca.
Since he had a little bit of a kitty cold when he was saved, he had to take some icky medicine for that. When he was well, he was so happy to finally get to stretch his legs and play. During his first few weeks in KD foster care, he received his shots, was tested for FeLV and FIV and was neutered.
Valero, whose name means “valiant” in Latin, is courageous and determined just as his name implies. He is fearless in the face of new adventures but also determined to be loved. He’s a cuddly little guy who loves attention and enjoys being with people and will do whatever he needs to do to be the center of their world.
Valero has been adopted!
