Themba is an African name that translates to “Trust, Hope and Faith.” Back in May of 2019, four little 2-month-old kittens were surrendered to Devore Shelter, trusting, hoping and having faith that they would be rescued … and they were! Since then, all four siblings – brothers Themba, Jabari, Rami and sister Anika – have thrived, safe and secure, in their wonderful Kitty Devore Rescue foster home.
Among the siblings, Themba is the most gentle soul. It’s as if he knows he was saved and is forever grateful for the gift of life. His foster mom feels he truly has the makings of an emotional support kitty. All he wants in life – besides food, of course – is to be loved and held. He will keep you company by curling up next to you as you lounge or sleep. His constant love is something you can rely on. He also enjoys play time with the other kitties in the home, playing with his toys and climbing up to high spots to survey the going’s on of the household.
Themba has been adopted as of Nov. 16, 2019!
