Tesla is a funny, quirky, hilarious little GOOBER! He’s rarely intimidated (not even by the vacuum!) and is quite the little busy body. He constantly has to be in the middle of everything you do and wants to be allowed to supervise/assist. Of course, you will want to snuggle him when he’s lying next to you, but that’s not his style! He’s a total little dude and has to be cool. Mommy or Daddy smooching him just won’t do! He’ll whine and chirp and squirm away… about a foot or two farther than he was (because he still wants to be with you!). He’s an all around odd little guy. He refuses to purr, but rather has a heavy breathing/mini-grunt that he does when he’s either happy or frustrated. He tolerates (and secretly likes) when his foster mom picks him up to snuggle and smooch, especially when she gets home from work, but will eventually protest to be let down. He loves when his foster daddy riles him up and wrestles with his belly!
Tesla is a very intelligent little guy and is particularly good at playing fetch! His favorite fetch toys are his sparkle balls, toy springs, and mom’s hairbands. He particularly wants his toys thrown in the morning and will drop them on your face while you’re asleep and will wait for you to wake and throw them. In the morning, he’ll occasionally tap you with his paw to let you know that you need to throw his ball (which is likely now under you somewhere after being dropped on you in your sleep). He has a chatty meow which sounds more like him talking than actually meowing. He’s SO much fun to be around and constantly makes you laugh.
He LOVES other kitties and would do best with another young cat to play with. If you’re looking for a pair, his bestie Tikka is also looking for a home! They make a very funny, gooberish pair and really do complement each other in their goofiness. He’s so sleek and soft, and his foster mom loves nothing more than forcing snuggles on him and kissing his little face (you will too!). If you’re looking for a long life of laughs and fun, he’s your guy.
