Tawny was adopted on June 10, 2020!
Tawny was originally rescued from Devore Shelter in May of 2015 by the Kitty Devore Rescue team for one of our rescue partner rescue groups. At just barely a year old, she was a brand new mommy to a single kitten at the time. In 2019, however, the rescue group that took her into their program fell on hard times and requested KD’s assistance in taking in several of their foster kitties. We wound up taking over 20 of them – beautiful Tawny, who still had yet to be adopted, among them.
As you can clearly see, Tawny is beautiful on the outside … but she’s equally so on the inside, too! She loves attention from humans and will roll on her back, revealing her lovely belly, as a way of enticing a belly rub. Quite the little charmer, she knows this gesture will get her pets. Tawny is all about giving and receiving love, and one of the many ways she does this is by providing nose nuzzles and gentle love bites. At night, she enjoys snuggling up with her favorite person in the house for a long night of sleep. She enjoys being picked up and held in your arms like a baby. But it’s not just humans that she loves – Tawny is incredibly sweet-natured and gets along very well with other kitties of all ages and temperaments. In addition to grooming herself, she also loves bathing other kitties in her midst. Tawny’s long-haired coat does need to be brushed regularly, but she won’t put up a fuss. She loves it!
Tawny is full of love and sweetness all rolled up into a beautiful little feline. You couldn’t hope for a perfect kitty! Fill out an adoption application for this amazing girl today!
