Suni was rescued from Devore Shelter in July of 2013 along with her two sisters and brother. Each kitten was taken into Kitty Devore foster care and found adoptive homes not long thereafter. What we thought was Suni’s forever dad adopted her in November of that same year but, sadly, almost 5 years later, he returned her through no fault of her own. He’d suddenly developed allergies that he attributed to having a cat in the home. Once a KD kitty, always a KD kitty, we always say. Suni was welcomed back into our care without a moment’s hesitation.
Suni is very sweet and loving girl with, as her name suggests, a sunny disposition who brings light, laughter and warmth to any room she’s in. She’s also a real talker and will not hesitate to let you know if she feels she’s not getting her fair share of attention.
We know she has the potential to be dog friendly as she shared her former home with a canine pal. However, it’s been awhile since she’s been around other kitties and, having grown accustomed to being the only kitty of the house, we’re not quite sure how she’ll do in a multi-cat household. We suspect she may do better as an only kitty so she can retain her status as the Sun Queen of the castle.
Suni was adopted January 29, 2019!
