Patrick was adopted November 13, 2020!
Meet Patrick! He was rescued from San Bernadino City Animal Services in July 2020 by a member of the community. The Kitty Devore Rescue family brought him into their fold a few weeks later so he could find his forever home. Estimated to be around three years old at the shelter, he has the energetic antics of a youngster.
Patrick is stunningly handsome, playful, and expressive. He loves to greet his foster parents and engage in conversation through chirps, squeaks, and mews – none of which you would expect to hear coming from his large frame. His favorite toys are wand toys, which he will gladly chase around the room until he catches them. After that, it’s time to bring his bounty under the bed or into his cat cave to gloat!
Once playtime is done, Patrick likes to relax near you and receive head, neck, and chin scratches. As you may notice from his pictures, he’s still growing out his mane after neglect prior to his rescue. Due to his fine, medium length coat, Patrick’s new family will need to keep up with their brushing routine every week to prevent matting. Don’t worry though, getting to pet a clean, shiny, unbelievably soft coat afterwards will be worth it!
Patrick is looking for his new home where he can hunt his wand toys, nap at your feet, and chat with you about your day. He does occasionally give a love nip when he is overstimulated and ready to roughhouse with a toy. As a result, he would do best with adult owners or a family with older children who have previous pet experience. Fill out an application to adopt Patrick today!
