Hi I’m Maura! I was a young mom who was admitted to Devore Shelter with my four little boys before Kitty Devore Rescue stepped in to save our lives. We were all so sick at the time of our rescue. I worried my boys and I weren’t going to be well enough to experience all the joy and wonder life had in store for us now that we were safe. Although it took some time, we all recovered and now it’s time for each of us to find our forever home and people to call our very own.
While there in June of 2018, the shelter staff estimated my age to be around 3 years old – but I’m just as spirited as a kitten! I am a very loving, silly, playful girl who loves running around with my boys – Cogs, Bryz, Getzy and Jiggy. To be honest, I’d love nothing more than to be adopted together with one of them. We’re all so close and I know I’d miss them dearly. I also enjoy the company of people and love engaging them in conversation. I trill and chirp to let everyone know how happy I am to be alive. I’m big on purring, cuddling and even more so if I can sit on your lap. Also high on my list of things I love: my scratcher and cat nip toys! I’m not so sure of the dogs in my foster home though and, if I had my way, I think I’d prefer a forever home without them.
