Marco and his brother, Mr. Mouse, were adopted together on February 27, 2021!
Meet Marco! He is one of the seven Mmm Mmm Mmm kittens born to a stray mama kitty in June 2020. He was approximately 2 months old when he entered Kitty Devore Rescue foster care in August 2020.
Marco was the shy boy when he was first rescued, but he has definitely come out of his shell. The longer he is around someone, the more affectionate he becomes. If you lay down, he’s going to find a way of nuzzling up to you and taking a nap. He’s a great sleeping partner because he picks a spot, curls up, and doesn’t move. His feline best friend is his playful brother from the same litter, Mr. Mouse.
They zip around the house, tumbling over each other, leaping between pieces of furniture, and trying to steal each others’ toys. These boys will be happiest in their forever home together. At first glance, they appear to be twins, but their differences are actually easy to spot. Marco has an adorable beauty mark on his face and a gray-black coat, while Mr. Mouse has an “M” on top of his head and a black coat.
Marco’s favorite toys are balls that he can bat around on the floor, weaving in between chair and table legs. He also has a solid volleyball spike if an airborne toy gets thrown in his direction. While his brother loves to fetch fuzzy mice, Marco is a more modern kitty – he is fascinated by cursors and screens. It isn’t unusual to find him sitting on the couch with the humans, enjoying the latest show on Netflix. He’s learning to be a better coworker by spending more time watching the cursor instead of running across the keyboard to chase it.
