Handsome Malloy was rescued from Devore Shelter by the Kitty Devore Rescue team in November of 2018. The shelter estimated him to be in the area of 2 years old at that time. He won over the hearts of everyone he met but, sadly, was not adopted so we made sure this friendly dude got out safe so he could go on to bring his special brand of joy to a special person or family down the road.
His name is Irish for “noble chief” – and noble, he is. He’s also incredibly social and outgoing. In addition to being incredibly vocal and chatty – as many black cats are – Malloy loves attention and if you aren’t giving him his fair share, he’ll put reach out to you with his front paws and remind you, “Hey, Bud! I’m here. Let’s hang out and you can pet me.” In fact, truth be told, there isn’t much Malloy won’t do to be the center of your universe. Don’t plan on getting much work done with this affectionate fellow around. He’s definitely one to encourage you to just kick it and hang out.
Some kitties are standoffish and some play coy. Malloy is the type of cat who will be your constant companion, lap cat, hang-out buddy and righteous dude!
Malloy was adopted on December 22, 2019!
