Kiwi was adopted Thursday, July 21, 2022!
Kiwi counted herself lucky, indeed, when someone found her wandering the streets the last weekend in May. A KD foster parent intercepted her from the caring citizen, and the rescue accepted the little two-month-old kitten into our foster care program.
Despite being abandoned and lost, Kiwi exudes sweetness with a bit of sass. Perhaps it’s because she endured loneliness and uncertainty that she finds great comfort curling up on a warm human lap. She purrs and stretches contentedly when cuddled and petted but is easily distracted by dancing fingers – things she takes great joy in nibbling and batting. When held, she purrs nonstop. Occasionally, she’ll whisper a soft, barely audible squeak. Kiwi insists on sleeping in bed with her favorite humans, so her adopter must ensure she has her own soft pillow to dream upon. Kiwi prefers a quiet, low-key environment. Her humans must be gentle, preferably adults with a more subdued lifestyle. She would be happiest as a solitary kitty, not caring for other kitty or canine companions.
If you’re a single person living a quiet and solitary life or an older couple who enjoys the gentle pleasures of home, provided you have no other animals, Kiwi may be the perfect fit for you. Fill out an adoption application for Kiwi today!
