While most of the kitties we welcome into Kitty Devore Rescue foster care come from Devore Animal Shelter, there are always a few exceptions that make our hearts melt. One chilly evening in February 2024, two of our foster parents stumbled upon a lone black kitten in a park. This little guy was in a real pickle, crying out for help. Despite their best efforts to find his mother or owner, it was clear that he had been abandoned and was all alone in the winter’s cold. They couldn’t bear to leave him there, so they scooped him up and brought him home. They knew that if they offered to foster him, Kitty Devore Rescue would warmly accept him into their foster care program.
After a comforting meal of Fancy Feast, Inky‘s tears soon dried, revealing a personality as vibrant as his jet-black fur. He’s a young, cuddly kitty who absolutely thrives in human company. Even in the face of other cat bullies, Inky remains composed and self-assured, displaying a confidence that’s beyond his tender age. But to those who extend a paw in friendship, he reciprocates with gentle affection. Inky’s love for play is infectious, as he eagerly engages with any toy that crosses his path, displaying an open-mindedness that mirrors his adaptable nature.
We know Inky‘s perfect forever person is out there. He knows it, too. And maybe that special individual is you. Fill out an adoption application today to meet him!
