Oh, Furgus! What can you say about one of the coolest cats you’ll meet?? Furgus was about 10 months old when he was rescued from Devore Shelter in May. This handsome cream tabby had a trap wound on his head, a kitty cold, and one of the worst eye infections our vet had seen… and all he wanted to do was snuggle, purr, and get a good belly rub!
That’s pretty much our boy Furgus. His full Scottish name is Furguson Gunn MacLeod, but he’ll never behave badly enough for you to call him by it. He gets along with all of his foster felines and can always be found hanging out with at least one of the other kittens, as he loves to show them “how to cat”. He would LOVE to be adopted with one of his foster brothers or sisters or by a family with another younger kitty that can be his buddy. Furgus loves playing with wand toys and chasing the laser light, but his favorite thing ever is getting belly rubs – he will flop over to seize any opportunity to get some pets on that tummy of his! He sleeps by his foster mom’s pillow most nights and likes to have a paw on you when he snuggles. He tolerates the dog, but would prefer to live without one, or at least one that’s not really interested in chasing cats – that’s really the only thing in life he doesn’t like!
Furgus is neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, up to date on vaccinations, and is totally over his kitty cold and eye infection. Occasionally, his eye can get a little weepy, but it’s nothing a warm cloth can’t easily clean up.
