Fleetwood was adopted July 1, 2020!
“Hello, Is it me you’re looking for?”
Fleetwood is a rather shy fellow when meeting new people. It’s the primary reason why he hasn’t found his forever home after 5 years in Kitty Devore Rescue foster care. In fact, he was just a tiny baby when his mom and siblings were rescued from Devore Shelter in May of 2014 so his foster home is the only one he’s ever known. However, he’s had the opportunity to meet many humans who have visited his foster mom over the years and does warm up to those of a more gentle nature.
Fleetwood is very laid back and easy going when he’s in the company of those he’s comfortable with – which also includes other kitties as well as the resident foster dog. He’s content to snooze in a cat tree, is low maintenance but more than happy to respond when called because love is always his number one priority. Sometimes he’ll even go out of his way to reach out a paw and gently give you a tap to confirm, “Yes, it’s me you’re looking for.”
Graison, an equally shy (initially) gray tabby, is Fleetwood’s brother and, while they don’t need to be adopted together, we have a strong sense that if they were they’d both blossom and let more of their personalities shine through. However, if you feel Fleetwood is destined to be your one and only true love and he, in turn, can bask in the knowing that there really is someone who will love him forever and accept is immense love, what are you waiting for?
