Blakley was adopted Tuesday, December 6, 2022!
Meet Blakley! She and her two identical sisters were admitted to Devore Shelter in mid-September 2022 when they were three months old. Her sisters were quickly adopted, but Blakley was left behind, waiting patiently for someone to notice her and take her home, too. When her foster mom saw her, Blakely, forlorn and dejected, was curled up at the back of her kennel. Knowing she couldn’t pass on this little black beauty, her foster mom happily chose her for her new foster baby. It turns out a little love and care was all Blakley needed to transform into a playful, lively lovebug.
Blakley is a petite kitty with a big personality. Her cheerful disposition lights and enlivens every room she inhabits. Her favorite location is on a warm lap, where she’ll purr up a storm to let you know she’s happy. She also loves pets, behind-the-ear scratches, and even tummy rubs. When it’s time for bed, she eagerly snuggles in close for the night, making her an ideal sleeping buddy. She’s fabulous with other kitties yet independent enough to keep herself entertained with her toy mice, and we believe she’d adjust well to life with or without kitty playmates. She’s not had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of canines, but she’s an adaptable, friendly girl, although it depends on the dog, and we sense she’d adapt to co-exist with them, too.
