Baloo and his brother, Banjo, were adopted together on February 16, 2022!
Handsome Banjo was among a large group of kittens admitted to Devore Shelter in October 2021. We suspect the group of 13, all approximately two months old, were from at least two different mothers. However, their mothers didn’t accompany them. Five of the kittens were adopted singularly while at the shelter. The remaining eight continued to hope for a rescue to save them. Kitty Devore Rescue knew we didn’t have an available foster home for all eight, so the kittens were rescued and split between two different foster parents. One set of four remained in California, and the other four traveled to their new foster home in Seattle, WA. Banjo and Baloo were among the four Seattle kittens. Both boys are the spittin’ image of each other, so they’re likely from the same litter.
Plucky little Banjo will fill your heart with joy! He’s one of the most fun-loving kitties around. He’s always in motion, hunting or playing with his foster siblings. We know he’ll grow up to be quite the stunning and sleek panther. While they’re not a strictly bonded pair, Banjo and Baloo are close and would love to be adopted together. They’d also do great in a home with another kitty of similar, similar energy levels.
Black cats are believed to have a touch of Siamese in them and, for that reason, are often quite talkative and musical. Let Banjo sing you the song of his people! Fill out an adoption application today!
