Baloo and his brother, Banjo, were adopted together on February 16, 2022!
Tiny Baloo was among a large group of kittens admitted to Devore Shelter in October 2021. We suspect the group of 13, all approximately two months old, were from at least two different mothers. However, their mothers didn’t accompany them. Five of the kittens were adopted singularly while at the shelter. The remaining eight continued to hope for a rescue to save them. Kitty Devore Rescue knew we didn’t have an available foster home for all eight, so the kittens were rescued and split between two different foster parents. One set of four remained in California, and the other four traveled to their new foster home in Seattle, WA. Baloo and Banjo were among the four Seattle kittens. Both boys are the spittin’ image of each other, so they’re likely from the same litter.
Baloo is a playful little guy, and, like his Disney namesake, he’s fun-loving, easygoing, and good-natured. Between the two boys, Baloo is the more sociable. He will follow you around like a gentle shadow, seeking attention. And how could you possibly resist him? Once grown, we know he’s going to be a sleek, sweet, huggable panther – just like that other famous Disney panther, Bagheera.
We know that once you meet him, you’ll be certain you can’t live without this bare necessity in your life. Fill out an adoption application to meet Baloo today!
